Good morning,
On 09/07/2013, I submitted a completed and signed debit order authority form to [Email Removed] to deduct property insurance on a monthly basis as our bond is now repaid. This e-mail address was provided by the call centre agent.
I did not receive a response. A follow-up e-mail was sent on 03/09/2013. I also called the call centre again on 0861 722 272 ans spoke to Ruth. She advised that the debit order form was received and not actioned. I was also advised that my polciy had now lapsed. I advised that this was unacceptable as I submitted the documents within the specified period and that it was Absa who failed to honour it. She told me that she will escalate the query to the admin dept and someone will contact me.
I have not received a response to date.
I would appreciated if someone can call me urgently regarding this matter and assist me in resolving it.
