Insuring with Standard Bank..worst decision we've made. Our roof was damaged due to hail damage last year November. We reported the claim on 4/12/12. A guy was sent out about 2weeks ltr The guy came spoke to me and said he was not properly equipped to go onto the roof to assess damages as it is 3 stories high so he would have to come back. December had past no one came back. My husb had to call numerous times to get them to send someone out to access the damages which are now getting worse due to the rain. A guy was eventually sent out to damages due to a burglary which had absolutely nothing to do with my claim. He then spent about 30min on the phone trying to sort the mess out. He was then given the go ahead to assess the roof. I'm almost 110% sure the 2nd guy went back to the insurance and mixed up the assessments as the report makes no sense. My husband and I have being trying to sort this matter out with the insurance for the past 2wks. We have only been able 2 spk 2 callcentre agents saying they will get Lebo or Raylene Govender to get back to us and they never do. The lack of feedback or concern is very disappointing &utterly shocking. We are going to cancel our insu
