I was involoved in a whereby my car was broken, things were from my car as well as being beaten upi badly (30 stitches & a broken nose). Besides the fact that I have been hospitalized for 2 weeks (not being at work as well), the claim took (still in process) over a month to resolve. I got treated as if I was the criminal and required to get allot of information which I was incapable of getting as I was in hospital. After eventually getting the documents (police statement & hospital records) the claim was prolonged by the independent Assessing company (Catrien van Rensburg of Censeo) asking for my tracker details a month after the incident so as to complete her report to send to the insurance. After calling, escalating and even going to the Ombudsman I still havent received any feedback. This is pathetic to say the least and no one deserves this kind of treatment.
