Still no credit card status for over 2months

I applied for a credit card at the branch and was told they will call me within 7days, the call never came. even though i visited the branch personaly and constantly waiting on a response for 3months now, yet i have an account with them after all considering leaving this.
until now am still waiting for them to call even to let me know whats happening with my application.

I WANT TO KNOW, HOW LONG DOES IT REALLY TAKE TO APPLY FOR AND GET A CREDIT CARD BECAUSE THIS RIGHT HERE IS ABSOLUTE NONSENSE..!!!
