I submitted my third claim to SAHL Insurance since Ive been with them, both the two first claims were declined. The third claim was for my Lapa that had storm damage almost 4 weeks ago. The claim was submitted, i heard nothing from them, I called and called and eventually got the vendor to come out and check. The vendor damaged my property when he arrived with his double cab, promised to replace my damage, had a look at the lapa and then told me that the wind was responsible for the damage. Another week passed, i started calling SAHL again for feedback, they eventually told me that the vendor told them that me lapa wasn't built to speck, thus declining my claim I then told them what was said to me about the wind damage. They then appointed a loss adjuster to come and have a look, I waited another week. I started calling again, the guy came after I made a fuss with the callcentre. Another week has now passed with ZERO feedback from them. In the mean time me lapa is slowly busy falling into my swimming pool. The damage caused to my property by the first vendor has also not been fixed yet. In a nutshel, SAHL insurance will always look for a loophole in the contract to decline a claim.
