Unwilling to fix storm damage on roof

I would like to make a formal complaint against Nedgroup Insurance Company. On the 30-8-2013, I phoned Nedgroup Insurance Company to report storm damage to my roof. I received a ref Nr. NED13144770. They then sent out an assessor to assess the damage. Three weeks after the assessor had been to assess damage i phoned my insurer to see how far they were in settling my claim, only to be told that they were still busy and that they will put it on the urgent list. I got a call on the 3-10- 2013 only to be told they won't fix the damage to the tiles and plastic membrane; however they will fix the damage inside caused by the storm, however I have to pay an excess of R1000. I feel outrage and disgusted as this i feel this will cover the inside anyway, so in essence Nedgroup Insurance Company won't cover anything. I complained why they won't cover the outside roof, Nedgroup explanation was that it is routine maintenance so the outside damage is my cost and NOT theirs. I feel Nedgroup has cheated me, and will never recommend then to anyone. My wife and I have been loyal clients and we were planning to stay loyal clients, but i feel after this we will take our business elsewhere where.
