I went to the ATM at Standard bank Kloof branch at approximately 18:30 on 05/09/2013. After inserting my card, i started to punch my code into the keypad and noticed that my pin number appeared on the screen. I immediately pressed the CANCEL button and the screen went into a hazy (display on the screen was rolling) mode. Someone suddenly tapped me from behind and asked me if I was done, whilst I responded, the next thing i see my card was gone which happened so fast. Immediately called the CALL CENTRE to put a stop on my card. I visited Standard Bank Kloof Branch on the 06/09/2013 and reported to the enquiries desk. The person behind the counter assisted me in phoning the unit, she mentioned that the bank is aware of the as previous incidents which occurred here as the description given to me matches mine of the alleged. Matter was reported to the police and a docket was opened. I also telephoned the department, spoke to Hussein who told me that it takes 15 working days for an investigation. I called again on 03/10/2013 only to be told that i reported the incident to late. I hope this matter can be resolved as i am so tired of the pathetic service.
