ADVERSE CREDIT REPORT

I had a personal loan with std bank which was paid in full 9 months back but there is an odd R264.00 which is still outstanding and is recorded at the credit bureas as a default. This has adversely impacted on my credit profile as i failed to secure a car finance recently. Whenever i contact std bank they always pass the buck as if the people assigned to do their jobs were all trainees and that applies to the management team who also failed disimally to tackle a small matter like this one. Service at this institution is so pathetic, incompetent people fill up key positions of utmost importance. I cannot open an account due to this unfortunate behaviour displayed by std bank stuff. Every time when i call, they promise to mail me a paid up letter and clear my name on the credit bureas and there is no follow up thereafter, i'll have to speak to somebody alse next time i enquire about the problem at hand. This has been going on for the past six months. What a joke
