TRYING to put in a claim for a new Windscreen!

Dissapointed with service - or lack thereof! I phoned your tollfree number this morning to put in a claim for a new windscreen. Never in my life have I battled to put in a claim as much as I did today. Firstly I follow the prompts, then I end up at dead ends... the calls just goes dead - at this point I thought there might be a technical problem and tried a 3rd time. Eventually I got through to someone who would not help me because I was not sure if I had the correct policy number and they could not confirm it - silly me for not remembering my policy number! After being transferred another 2 times, somebody finally gave me a chance to explain what I wanted to do. I was told that I'll be transferred again to someone who deals with windscreen replacements. This was the same prompts I tried earlier that did not work so I ended up at a dead end again. I then tried again and this time did not use any prompts, got through to a consultant who transferred me again. At last someone told me what the procedure was and I was able to obtain a ref number. I refuse to take chances with insurance and will most likely cancel the policy, it's not worth the risk!
