Good Day, My son had funeral policy with FNB and he passed away on the 12th Sep 2013 with car accident! I first submitted my claim on the 19th Sep to FNB Kimberly as he was staying there I went to FNB Kimberly on Friday to follow up with a claim but FNB said they didn't receive the documents and the lady by the name of Mpho send them again on Friday! then went to fnb again on Monday at Attlyn to do follow up again still the same story of documents then she did send them again to fnb finally they received them! but now FNB don't want to pay the claim as they say they need blood samples of the deceased of which is my son and it will take up to 3 to 6 months to get! my problem is how can a normal funeral policy not life policy want the blood test and they don't want to pay the cliam for my son's policy! I asked the consultants who called me on Thursday to put through to their complain department he refused and said he will ask them to call me back! still today no callback received and no claim paid! how can the want blood samples on a normal policy while other policies are paying when the receive all documents? I had to bury my son without the policy being paid! Please help!!!
