I have car household (which I recently cancelled) insurance with FNB insurance since 1 May 2011. Probably more than 6 mths ago I realised I wasnt receiving eBucks for my insurance. Queried it with FNB they deny that they are my broker but my comes on a FNB Insurance Broker letterhead!!

Nobody responds to my numerous emails. I went to the Parow, Cape Town branch to see the women who sold me the insurance, she left.. The contact details that A&G gave me which is [Email Removed], 021 936 9200, 083 263 4540 that person has also left but but confirmed working for FNB Insurance.

FNB deducts the following broker fee every month since the 1 May 2011! 12.50% for the motor section of the insurance, 20.00% for the non-motor sections of the insurance R35.00 admin fee

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy tablet from FNB beginning Feb and took out the device insurance for R37.15. This month R64.99 was deducted. The insurance increased by R27.84 (75%!!!) within 8mths!

Who the do these people think they are? This is!
