I have a extended warranty on my car with SA warranties and last week on Thursday my car had a Clutch failure and i was about to go on a holiday for the weekend... I took my car to the workshop in town Johannesburg and most of the workshops had a bad experience working with SA warranties in paying them up after fixing the cars... The mechanic advised me that he can fix the car the same day and I pay him cash then he will give me the receipts that I can submit to SA warranties for them to refund me... Now when I am calling them they telling me about the terms and conditions of the policy... H consultant did not even wanted to listen to the urgency of the claim but rushed to tell about that... my policy is not behind and there is nothing wrong or doggy with my claim... I needed my car urgently and I had to pay the mechanic to fix my car the same day.. I wish i could just terminate my policy and get my money back that I bought the policy with... At the beggining of the call the consultant said he cannot find my policy number even when using my ID number or car number plates... He did not even show interest in helping me.. I do not think we need this kind of people in...
