Funeral Claim not processed for my father's funera

My father passed away on the 6th of September. On monday the 9th i called the Old Mutual contact centre, to enquire what documents i would need in order to submit the funeral claim. THe person i spoke to told me that i can bring the certified copies of the required documentation.
On Tuesday i went to Old Mutual Silverton branch at 12:45. THe guy at reception told me that the consultant (Jeanine or somebody, a coloured lady) who is supposed to help us, will be going on lunch at 13:00 . When i showed the consultant the documentation that i had, which was certified. She told me that she accepts originals only. I have to have my brother drive all the way from Pretoria West to Silverton to bring the originals. When he arrived i gave the originals to the consultant, she checked all the documents, made copies, gave me the forms to sign after she confirmed that i gave her all the documents she needed.
