My current account was debited for an amount of R1428 on the 10-Sep-13 without my permission its a brand new account no debit orders set up on it. I had contacted the customer care department where I was diverted to the Legal Department I spoke to a person by the name of (Yumna Baker) she was the most arrogant person I ever spoken to she was rude and didn't take an understanding of anything I said. Her response was because I have an outstanding balance with my Ned bank credit card they have a right to debit money from my account without my permission to recover the money due to them. I stated to her I want an immediate reversal done and she had said 'NO'. I am disappointed with Ned Bank on how they run their operations to recover outstanding amounts from peoples accounts its unprofessional as a Bank to portray that kind of image to their clients. when this incident occurred I did not receive any sms notification of the money leaving my account. I only knew of this when I logged on my cell phone banking. I received an sms on the 11-Sep-13 after the money was out of my account an the 2nd sms on the 12-Sep-13, stating it was for my credit card I would like a reversal to be done!
