After lodging a complaint against FNB at the Ombudsman, 7 weeks later... not a single response from the Ombudsman nor from FNB. This is due to a business account that could not operate 30 days after opening it (not one single appology from FNB for the IT mess they have created). Yet FNB is charging me banking fees for the account which I do not wish anymore as I was forced to open another bank account to stay in business with my clients. FNB gave me 7 reference numbers for follow-up... not even that has happened (besides copy/paste emails via hello Peter). I had enough and will this time take legal steps against FNB and make this public via internet forums and the media. The Consumer Protection Law is quite clear and FNB has broken the law on numerous occassions. I would not be surpirsed the ombudsman received a 'donation' as this is THE BANANA REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA.
