The space available is too short to explain all the problems I have experienced in the short 2 weeks of being a client. Firstly the sales person made so many errors on my quote that I had to phone back 4 times for him to correct the errors. Some of these errors could have severely adversely impacted my position in the event of a claim. Then the worst thing happened - my daughter had a car accident on the second day the policy was in effect. That was over 2 weeks ago now and the claim is not finalised. Also we did not receive our BP Vitalitydrive cards and I then saw that the postal code on the policy was incorrect so they were sent to the wrong postal address! Then I insisted the cards be couriered to me - that was 2 weeks ago and still waiting for 1 of the cards. Now regarding the accident claim they are looking into the change of the principal driver of the car - this is one of the changes I phoned in for before the policy inception due to the errors. So their ineptitude is going to backfire on me now. I will change back to Santam as soon as is practical to do so as I was with them for 6 years and had nothing but excellent service and attitude - the opposite of Discovery Insure.
