Blue Bean Credit Card Dispute over payments

In Oct 2008, I was called by the call centre with regards to payment. I owed R 7800-00 to the credit card. In our discussion it was agreed upon that interest was calculated for 3 years and that a payment of R 300-00 a month for 36 months would be sufficient to clear the debt in this time period. Which means the debt should have been sorted out in Sep 2011.

In March 2012 I received a call from another debt collection company or lawyer stating that I owe R 7800-00, which is completely impossible as I had already paid a total of R 10, 800.00

I have requested they trace all payments made from Oct 2008 and send me statements. They keep calling me saying I owe them even more as they keep adding interest. Up until today, I am still waiting for a statement to show me all payments made.

They have now logged me as a bad payer with ITC and it is giving me a bad credit rating which is making it impossible for me to rent a house.

What does one have to do to get a resolution to this problem as clearly Blue Bean's employees are incapable of doing or assisting with any request!

Do I need to contact the ombudsman in this regard? Can anyone help please?
