Ivory Tower Judgements!!!

On Tuesday, 22 January 2012, I applied for a new personal loan. Please consider that I have banked with ABSA for 20 years, and have had two personal loans in the past, and have conducted my accounts impeccably!!! Yesterday I called to follow up and was told that Lesego would call me later in the day to advise on the progress, by 10am this morning I had not received a call. So I called, to be told that the application had been declined because I could not afford the repayments... when half of my salary is unallocated!!! The person sitting in the Ivory Tower, apparently someone named Laverne, had decided to include an account that I had clearly advised Lesego was paid for by my husband. But thats not what has upset me.. do I not qualify for a phone call, dont they call their customers and offer alternatives... This is why people are moving to FNB, it looks like im on my way too!
