MiWay increases excess from 0 - R3300 /premiums

After being hounded by a consultant with a better rate every day for a full week, I decided to change from an insurance company I was happy with to MiWay. They already messed up with the first claim by telling us they're going to call back re what to do, then a week later I receive a letter stating they want photos the next day or policy will be cancelled and claim not processed. Another week later I get a letter stating excess will go up 30 days after notice from 0 to R3, 300 or the premium will double if we choose to keep 0 excess. What a RIP-OFF!!! So they sign you up with good deals then rip you off a month or 2 later! I am absolutely disgusted with MiWay. Then the consultant still has the audacity to tell me that the decision has been made and nothing can be done and they are happy for me to take my business elsewhere. Shame on you MiWay and I will never ever recommend anyone to sign up with you. You're going to sink your business with decisions like these Ms Rene Otto (CEO)
