I signed up with Miway based on a set premium provided and excess when claiming. within 3 months I received a notice stating my excess will increase to their standard rate R3 300. when I contacted them I was advised that this was a company decision due to the weak rand and the that they noticed a higher claim rate from accounts with no excess. ( no if this does not seem like a)

further to this they ensure they cover their by sending you their cover sheet that disclose that Miway may change the policy by giving you 30 days notice. To top that, you have to agree to a set debit order (all good and well) but then find your account to be debited at odd times of the month.

I have raised this with FIAS and completed a complaint document for further investigation as this is BAIT MARKETING and does not comply with the customer protection act.

Even after all the mails no one can answer why a 3 month account has been increased. This is clearly a
