I have recently become had a spate of problems where FNB decides not to honour my debit orders purely because the funds was not reflecting at the time the debit order was called for. The funds were in the account ut not reflecting. The debit orders tend to go off at midnight however the funds become available at 0.600 in the morning as far as I am concerned their are 24hrs in a day and I have to make sure that the money is available on the day not on the hour or second. Every time the debit orders are not honoured it cost me R183.rand which FNB takes from me and I suppose everyone else as well not only is this wrong it is and unconstitutional. I have tried to reason with them but they miss the point totally and then decide to debit my account twice for the same amount which naturally is not honoured and guess what charge me another R183.00 rand.
