Scotfin Brokers
Scotfin think they can do whatever they like!

I appointed a very nice broker in Fourways working for Scotfin.
After a short while Scotfin retrenced the broker without asking me whether this was acceptable to me their client. They also proceeded to tell me in writing that the broker had left implying that this was of the broker's own volition. They moved my account to Durban which was obviously a long way from Fourways. The emails and the documentation I received from them was unacceptable and they messed up my account completely all of this less than a year into my insurance appointment. Charges have not yet been returned and even though I sent them an email telling them I no longer wanted to deal with them they have today sent me an email stating that they are resigning as my broker??? Also trying to continue the relationship which was taken from them before the end of the month and implying that it will continue until the end of September. Presuming that I would like to stay with the company with which the policy was placed. Again without asking me. They need to be reported to the Insurance Ombudsman for bullying clients.
To say the the emails I received were confusing would be an understatement.
