Bank cheats customer out of R2000

On 1 August 2013 I withdrew cash at the Greenpoint ATM in Witbank. The ATM returned my card but did not dispense any cash after 10 minutes. I logged a call with the bank (ref: 54392847) and was informed that it will take 15 business days for the matter to be cleared up. It has now been a full calendar month and after numerous calls to the call centre have not even had one phone call from the bank trying to assist. Yesterday (02-09-2013) I insisted that the call be escalated and was promptly informed that this was done and that I would receive feedback within 24hours. This now has also passed with no one contacting me. In general I found the Standard Bank ATM's in this area are poorly maintained (fact that my BRAND NEW ATM card was swallowed 2 months in a row is proof of this - incidentally I have not ordered a new one because when I reported it the bank official looked like she did me a favour by listening to me)
