Epossessed/sold/ had NO idea of that!!!

My car got repossessed on the 17th July 2013 fair enough I gave away the car keys with a sinking heart, I am unemployed and spoke to my family and they agreed to help me and I ended up calling the man on Friday 30th Augustus to enquire about the car and said he will come back to me, he did come back to me yesterday 2nd September to let me know it was sold "last week"! I was asked "why did I take so long? " and "didn't I get the letter? "! 1st of all what letter is he talking about? Secondly- I know I have not been the best of customers but I didn't need to be treated in the dark like that and to hear that the car was valued at R35 000 and sold for R45 000!!! My word that left a bitter taste in my mouth- even when my financial situation will change for the better I WILL never forget the treatment that I got from Absa VAF. The don't care attitudes will cost the bank a lot, trust from customers will be forever tarnished and destroyed. i thought -its better to retain an existing customer rather than having a new one! Probably I thought wrong. I know I haven't been the "blue eyed" client you have been hoping for but really now I should have been told instead of keeping mum about it
