More bad service received from FNB

I'm still reeling from the bad service I received from FNB in Sunnypark today. I have been treated badly before but never like this.
I went to the branch to close my account. After sitting in a queue waiting for 45 minutes (and that's on a good day) and after the consultant had seen another client who jumped the queue - I asked to close my account. I was told that it's not possible due to the fact that I had swiped my card in December 2012 and the supplier had not completed the transaction. The consultant (Zanele) called the 'supervisor' - a middle aged white woman with glasses. She looked on the system and confirmed what Zanele told me. Then she told me that I have to contact the supplier and ask them why they have not submitted their banking, because until that is done, they cant close the account.
My question: why am I responsible to contact them? What am I paying bank charges for? The white woman just shrugged her shoulders and refused to assist me. Well i refuse to continue paying bank fees (R90 per month) while FNB REFUSES to close my account. For the record, I was there today and I had the money to close the account. You can list me on ITC but i am done with FNB for good!
