I am billed for a cancelled policy

I had a policy at AVBOB for not even a month, I received a better quote from another insurance company.
So i decided to cancel with them, last month they debited my account after I have send through a cancellation letter and all supporting documentation they needed.
I then had to send them a bank statement reflecting the amount that they debited.
Now again this month the same thing happened, my account has been debited by them. I called in this morning to ask why, they could not even explain and told me that I have to send my bank statement again to them so that they can refund me.
Honestly this is taking too much of my time and what if it happens for the next month again or even worse coming 6months?? i am expected to call in again (that is costing me so much money) and send a bank statement again?
