Absa contacted me regarding a debit order (Absa personal loan), that was due every month on the 25th. I explained, that I only get paid on the 26th/27th. The consultant (I wish I knew her name) told me, that she had, whilst I was on the telephone, adjusted the debit order date in order for the debit order to be successful every month.
The following month I receive the same message from Absa bank, please ensure there are sufficient funds in your account for debit order (personal loan) on the 25th. I phoned the help desk who said, ironically, that they could not hep me. In order to change the debit order date I ought to phone the branch at which the personal loan was approved. I then immediately wrote an e-mail to [Email Removed] on the 30th July 2013, explaining my frustrations with Absa bank. I am still waiting for a response.
I am quite patient, but with my career, and me working 18hours a day 7 days a week banking hours and admin is a huge frustration for me.
