I have a personal loan with Absa, the debit order goes off on the 26th of the month because i used to transfer the salaries. My boss took over the salaries and now only pays us on the last day of the month. I went into Absa, stood in the queue like the good client that I am to change my debit order date. 2 months later, it is still going off on the 26th, therefore bouncing, they never fail to phone me and treat me like a criminal when i have been banking with them for 19 years with no problems. I try and do the right thing and change the date and now i am liable for the fees for the debit order not going through and they are holding back some of my salary?
