For the last 5 months I have been trying to settle my debt review accounts with ABSA. To date the issue was that they had not adjusted my interest rates according to the court order. After many requests they finally did adjust it but did not back date it according to the court order. Finally after many complaints I was informed that the above had now been done, which I'm still not convinced of due to it being 5 months of them telling me it's done, but when I get my settlement amounts and compare it to my Debt Counsellors' statement the amounts differ by /- R30 000.

For the last 2 weeks I have sent e-mails to a Selby Mokgotho and Mandla Dhladhla, requesting settlement amounts. To date no one has responded to my mails, nor supplied me with settlement amounts.

I will NEVER in my life bank with ABSA again, nor will I ever recommend you to anyone. I have been a client of yours since you were still called United Bank, but with service like this all I want to do is settle my accounts and get ABSA out of my life for good.
