12 Jan 2013 I get an email from Lerien Bester saying that Nedbank is terminating my debt review for non-payment.
According to the email, "I neglected to pay the increased rate as of July 2012".
STRANGE! As I (1) never received a notice of the increase or what it is, & (2) a call from Debt Rescue AT THAT TIME, or even a month later, Aug 2012, letting me know that I should be making an increased payment.
The first I get notified is 7 months later! And when the Bank has given a termination notice!
Secondly, On 13 Jan 2012 I sent through a change of bank details for the debit order. I received confirmation from Ilana van Herwaarde the same day saying "done".
The following month, no debit order came off, & so I paid & continued to pay via EFT.
NOW I learn that my bank details were never changed, & they continued to debit a CLOSED acc.!
When you view the NPDA statement (which I have never received - until I was sent it this week by Lerien) it looks like every debit order has bounced.
YOU should have changed the bank details! YOU should have notified me of the increase!
You are not DOING ME A FAVOUR!
I pay for a service!
Where is the SERVICE!
