This serves to warn anyone even considering getting a policy with Outsurance. After lodging a claim recently I was completely dumbfounded by the poor service and approach of the company. We were hounded, interrogated, groundless allegations made and intimidated. Eventually after an arduous month of this "investigation", the claim was rejected on "observations by witnesses", but no factual basis. Also be warned that when insuring with outsurance you are not allowed to drive your vehicle after work hours, this is immediately red flagged if an accident occurs. Aside from the multiple interviews where they attempt to intimidate you and put words in your mouth, outsurance also requested bank statements and cell phone beaconing. SERIOUSLY?! Did we murder someone? Needless to say, I have cancelled my policy. I am now a avid "ANTI-OUTSURANCE CAMPAIGNER", warning anyone that cares to listen against your poor service. Maybe spend a bit less on your add campaigns and R400 bribe scampaign, then you could pay out claims. Oh, and telling your customers to rank your excellent service on hellopeter and sending them a link to do so kinda screws with the stats and makes you seem desperate.
