The TRIS division notified me by email that money way incoming to South Africa for our company was due and by law these funds have to be allocated as per regulation (TRIS division). 10 days ago this notification was received with tel. no and/or email address that one needs to advise with what should happen with incoming money ($). The telephone number provided is NEVER ANSWERED (PLEASE TEST IT) AND I HAD SEND AN EMAIL (AS WELL) THREE TIMES WITHOUT RESPONSE so eventually escalated the problem to Dries who got response from this seriously understaffed division of ABSA. SURELY WE AS SOUTH AFRICANS WANT MORE MONEY COMING IN SA. If we do accept the money into account then we cannot supply and this will chase our foreign customers away - WAKE UP MANAGEMENT AND CEO at ABSA. ABSA is an embarrassment to SA and we will be moving our business if there is no urgent attention taken regarding this terrible service. SADLY MANAGEMENT your own staff (and so should you anyway if you tested your entities) are aware of the problem which they say has been escalated to you (MANAGEMENT) so this is common knowledge. which has been raise within your organization which you chosen to ignore.
