Account deleted, no longer linked and no access

I live in Germany on an international assignment. As such, all my SA bank accounts are still in use. In fact I do internet banking on a monthly basis. However, upon a recent visit to South Africa (June 2013), I soon discovered that I could no longer access my funds through the ATM machines.

The Prestige banker at the branch assisted me, but could only solve the problem (on advise from another call centre agent) by deleting/unlinking my accounts and linking them back again. This solved most of the problems, but one (1) account could not get linked. As a result, I have had no access to this account and it's funds since 14.06.2013.

I have sent numerous emails since then to the Prestige Customer Contact Centre, with the same response - "the matter has been escalated". I have had no contact from Standard Bank since the 26.07.2013, even after weekly follow-up mails from my side to them in this matter.

The situation is now desperate, as I have no way of accessing my funds.
