On Aug 2013 i was in an accident where a car drove into me and drove off.(hit and run) what sounded like a simple claim has now taken about 2 weeks where as the loss provider is constantly harassing me for private information (tracking my cellphone for the day of the incident, viewing my private bank records, and generally treating me like a criminal)
the facts are that a guy drove into me and drove off. isnt that enough? this must mean he is the guilty party? *why am i the one being harassed?
*my premiums are always paid on time
*never had a claim before
*car is insured
*have a drivers licence
*car is roadworthy
*this is the first accident im involved with
*im registered as the driver
i know my poor car wasnt worth much (around R40 000) but its my transport and i need it. surly seeing as my premiums were always paid and ive been a loyal client for many years, this should not be such a big deal"?
