Claiming a clearance lette

Hi, im deeply sad as i had made arrangements to pay of my truworths account with the above company acting as collectors.my end of the deal has been honoured as i haved all monies back but now its been 3 weeks that i have requested a clearance letter and im being passed from pillar to post.i had a job lined up but now coz of my credit record i didnt get the job, these people are bringing my reputation into disrepute.im busy trying to get my credit profile up to date but these people dont wnt 2 clear my name or even give me a clearance letter, please help.
