I applied for a consolidation loan in January 2012 whereby I made
it clear that I need a 24 month contract. Sydney a consultant worked everything
out and gave me the amount of R5, 275 payable in
two years time. Knowing that after two years I will be debt free after I have sacrificed everything.
The following day I brought everything that was required.
It took me three days to finish signing everything. As I am a bus driver opposite
Old Mutual office I put all my trust in Sydney as I know their faces. I could
run out of time for my work and request to continue the following day.
Early this year I walked in their branch to check the exact month when am I finishing.
Sydney again explained to me that my contract end in July 2014, when I cross-question him
why not January as per contract he was stuck. I asked him to call head office to inquire he said they are not allowed.
He then gave me Cape Town number and that is where I was told that I signed a three year contrac.
Even before signing I was interviewed by her supervisor I kept on saying 2yrs contract but when
I go back to them they said they do not offer a two years contract. Unfortunately
I misplaced the two year contract.
