Called the Telesure call center to log a claim on two golf clubs on 13/08/2013. Verna Penn took the call and after a few questions proceeded to inform me of the process. I was asked to obtain two quotes, which as her office was not far from me, I could deliver to her. I got quotes on the 14th and when delivering, Verna was not at her desk. I was attended to by Maggie Govender, who besides copying the quotes, agreed to review my policy at the same time. I discovered that my wife's jewelry was not covered as I thought. Maggie then explained all to me, gave me valuable advice on how to rectify that and as soon as I get valuations of the jewelry, will be back to her and have the insurance corrected. (Jewelry value -R135000.00)
On Thursday the 15th August, Verna phoned me to say that the claim had been approved & that my Bank account would be credited in three days time with the settlement amount, less the excess.
I have been around a long, long time. Never before have I experienced such professionalism, advice and speed of response from any insurance person before. Both Verna & Maggie are a credit & an asset to Telesure.
