I had purchased a cell phone through FNB and also had it insured through them. The phone was damaged and reported as such to FNB. This was done for the 1st time on 27th June. After 2 week I still had no feedback so I called them again to which they said they lost the detail and I gave it again. On the 19th July the phone was collected and a report given that it was not cost effective to repair. I had to call FNB again to hear this on the 31th of July. They then sent me some forms which I had to sign and send back which I did right away. I then had to follow up again on the 6th August only to be told they never received the forms, although I have the proof that it was sent??? I then resent it and they promised to have settled and the balance to be paid to me by no later than today. I also made a formal complaint on the FNB website (complaint no. FNB8056-Kruger) on the 8th August which I was told they would get back to me within 24hrs. Today is the 12th of August and I haven't hear from either the insurance or FNB. So much for customer service!!! I hope this will spark them into action
