Bad actually Horrible customer service No feedback

I must say our experience with Standard Bank for the past 5 weeks has completely changed my views about the bank. For a bank that has been in the industry for so long, the lack of service and poor feedback is a total shock to me. I think more so for my mother who is a loyal standard bank client.
More than 5 weeks ago my mother went to a standard bank branch to request a cession letter to prove that her bond was fully paid. From the branch She was told that within 3 working day the letter will be posted to her, that never happened. She then went back to the bank and was put on the phone where she was asked to phone the call centre. She was told that her bond was closed by the legal department. Ok so She phoned the call centre again, asked for legal and was told that they can't pick up the account on the system, like how? Ok, So my mom obviously frustrated took a day off from work, took a taxi from Pretoria to Johannesburg Head Office to get helped... 3 weeks later We are still waiting!
The feedback received is when prompted and is very bleak. I'm very disappointed in the Bank and so is my mom. I never expected such poor customer service from the Bank! Shocked!
