My back window of my car was shattered on Saturday 10 Aug, with what looked like a pellet gun. After driving home with it like that, I wanted to contact Budget as soon as possible as the car is needed by me during the week, and in case they needed a police report ect. On Sunday 11 August, I called the contact number given to me by BUDGET, and was told I have called outside of operating hours! How can an insurance company have operating hours for assistance! So we should only have issues, that we need our insurance company's assistance with, during office hours! What would happen if I was broken into or my car was, would I have to wait till Monday to get assistance. That is ridiculous!!! Oh and to tell people to claim online also does not help! What if you do not have access to a computer!!
This is the first time using budget for assistance and claim, and I am not impressed. Maybe leaving OUTSURANCE was a mistake!!!
