In September/October last year I asked for a discount on an outstanding debt of /-R25000, a 30% discount was request resulting in having to pay R17500, they demanded that I pay R22500 and would not accept my request to clear my name. Subsequently, I requested a copy of all the calls from inception of the contract. I was sent the last 20 calls. I again requested a copy of all the calls and have heard nothing from them for 10 Months! Today I receive a call from a collections agency advising that the debt is now at R29000. At no point have I denied that I owe the monies and I was willing to pay, however now more interest has been accumulated, I have received no statement indicating what I owe, the interest rate, etc. Its disgusting that there has been no reply to my requests for copies of 'recorded' calls and 10 months later suddenly I must foot the bill of additional interest. Can someone please arrange the copies of the calls and statements
