Debit order for insurance cancelled - NOT!!!

I dropped my Samsung smart phone and the screen cracked. I phoned FNB to lodge a claim as I took out insurance on the phone through FNB when I bought the phone through FNB. I was told by a consultant that the policy did not cover a cracked screen. I was then told that "should I wish to cancel the insurance" (no duh!) that I should call their Insurance department. On 23 JULY 2013 I phoned FNB Insurance (086 1000 804 - option 2)) and was advised by a consultant (DRIKA) that I could cancel the insurance by sending them an email and that today (23 July 2013) was the cut-off day to cancel the insurance. I immediately proceeded to send an email with the relevant details requesting that the insurance be cancelled WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. (a copy of the email can be forwarded as proof) Needless to say my account was debited for the insurance on the smart phone despite DRIKA advising me that it would not. I sent an email to FNB insurance [Email Removed] instructing them to reverse the debit order as I had cancelled the insurance on 23 July 2013. NEEDLESS TO SAY - TO DATE - I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE FROM FNB - ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC FNB!!!
