ONE YEAR LATER CAR STILL DENTED

My car was dented by someone else on 7 August 2012. I took all the details and went to M&F. was told they would not pay because it wasn't my fault and I should sort it out myself. So I went to the company of the vehicle that hit my car. Eventually their insurance offered me one-quarter of what I need to fix it. Went back to M&F and they want me to fill in a long form. But I no longer have all the details because the cell-phone on which they were was. So I asked for help from the insurance of the company owning the vehicle that hit me with one of their staff in the driver's seat. They are stringing me along. PLEASE HELP M&F or I will have to find another insurance company.
