On Thursday the 4th of July I was at AVBOB branch in Queenstown, assisted by Luleka who told me to come back on Monday, the 8th of July, as she will be going home at 15:00.She mentioned that they received a letter from Head office instructing them not to take any claims after 10:00 on the 4th of July. I contacted the Head office and that's when she asked me for my documents. She made the following comment "If they don't assist you with your claim DO NOT CONTACT ME, contact the Head office." I sent a query on the 9th of July, it was the 4th day without hearing anything. Barbara got back to me again telling me that they only received my claim on that day (9th July. As a paying customer I really find this unacceptable. Taking into consideration the circumstances I really feel that the staff that deal with clients during this traumatizing time should really have more empathy. I understand that they deal with these situations on a daily basis, but should treat each customer with the respect and dignity that we all deserve. Ellaine promised to get back to me and till today I have heard nothing from her.
