I had ENOUGH of this now. I opened a new contract at Autopage. I CLEARLY stated in my contract that I would like to keep my number but to transfer it from Vodacom to MTN. Tuesday, 8 July I received my phone and sim and called Customer Care at /- 17:00 to activate the sim. The lady told me that it would take 24 hours. Wednesday 9 July just past 18:00 the sim still didn't work, so I called again and then was told it would take up to 2 days. Friday afternoon, 12 July still nothing worked so I called again and was told 2 - 4 hours. Saturday 13 July at around about 11:00 I called again to find out they activated a wrong number; he told me that I should call Monday as he cannot do anything about it. Monday 15 July I made contact with Stanton who helped me to get the contract. I told him what happened and told him to refer to my contract where I clearly stated I want to keep my original number. He told me that he would sort out everything. From there I called him daily. I even mailed him this morning and as to now no reply and not even a call to give me a update. I had enough. If this matter is still going on tomorrow 12:00 then I would take this further with my lawyer and the CPA act.
