Can ABSA be trusted? Do they even care?

I have an ABSA (Momentum) Credit Card. After I was retrenched it was cut up and stopped being used. In order to pay back the outstanding amount, ABSA and myself agreed on a monthly repayment program. Once I was employed again I was able to pay more than the required monthly amount and paid off the outstanding debt early.

After reviewing my monthly statements I discovered that instead of the total payment made being allocated towards the total outstanding debt it was split between straight and budget. This meant that my straight was positive and my budget still in the negative. I spoke to the call centre and eventually spoke with a Team Lead who said they would reverse the incorrectly charged interest. They emailed me with a break down of the reverse charge to be credited to my credit card. Since this email was sent in April no reverse has been made. As a good customer a monthly payment is still made on my card. As of last week when I visited my local branch, they informed me that my card had no limit or anything on it. Does ABSA even know that my outstanding amount has been paid in full? Maybe I should keep my card cut up?
