Funeral cover not paid out

I'm disgusted with the manner FNB has treated my boyfriends death. he died on the 20th July 2013, to this day we are waiting for FNB to make payment. the claim was supposed to be paid out with 48hours.
we have had to pay cash for all the burial expenses. we have been sent from pillar to post and no one is willig to explain what is holding up the payment.
