Unlawful closure of Spitz card and unsatisfactory

Today my wife phoned the Call Centre to enquire what the available credit was on her Spitz card 6010240042383374126. Available credit confirmed was r3000. This amount was also confirmed via sms. When she went to Makro to purchase the card was declined..When phoning the call centre from Makro she was told that the card was closed. At 17h37 I phoned the Call centre again and spoke to Thulani who advised that a written request was received to close the account via email. We abrubtly got cut off. I phoned in again at 17h40 and spoke to Sazi Tasana who was very arrogant and did not listen to the complaint. She advised that Mathabo closed the account and that we must phone in tomorrow as she left at 17h00. AT NO STAGE DID WE REQUEST FOR THIS ACCOUNT TO BE CLOSED. We require copy of the written request in order to lay a formal complaint with the Credit Ombudsman or THIS LIMIT MUST BE RE-INSTATED IMMEDIATELY AND A WRITTEN APOLOGY MUST BE SENT. The service we received was pathetic, Sazi was not interested in listening to our complaint.
