My ATM Card was retained by the Std Bank ATM at Epsom Downs Shopping Centre on 23 July 2013. On Thursday 25 July 2013 I went into the Northcliff Branch to request a replacement ATM card. I informed the Enquiries consultant that my card had been retained by the ATM and that I should not be charged for a technical problem. The consultant was very unhelpful only informing me that it was not her decision. Imagine my disgust when I noted that Standard Bank had ONCE AGAIN charged me R76, 00 for a replacement card. Obviously the consultant had not made a note of the circumstances and Standard Bank has ONCE AGAIN helped themselves to the funds in my account. Utterly disgusted with the level of service from Standard Bank and question the integrity of this institution.
