Misled into buying a policy

I went into the branch to have my retirement policy cancelled. I was then advised that it would be a better option to to have the retirement plans converted into one policy which would be a long term investment. Upon agreement this process was followed by what seemed to be a legitimate contract I had to sign which stated that my prior policies would now be converted to this supposed investment.

To my surprise i was later advised by one of their call centre agents that this process is not possible and has never been done. This fact was later confirmed by a consultant at the Centurion Lake.

So as a result I have three policies that i was not aware of and my bank account was debited for all three policies.

If this this is how Old Mutual conducts business I want to have absolutely no affiliation with their unethical and dishonest conduct. This is and I am certain to some degree illegal.

What can be done in this situation. I unfortunately do not remember the name of the consultant at the wonderpark.
